Terms and Conditions

Our bouncy castles are manufactured in the UK, by BEETEE, to British Standard BS EN 14960, ensuring health, safety and quality standards are met. We also have our bouncy castles tested and inspected regularly, to ensure they meet and exceed all UK industy standards in accordance with the Health & Safety Executive for England & Wales (HSE) guidelines for minimising risks to health and safety. However, there are obvious health and safety risks associated with the use of bouncy castles, which can be minimised and/or prevented by following our terms of hire. It is therefore the responsibility of the hirer to inform users of our equipment of the following rules.

1. Before making your booking please ensure that there is enough space for the equipment. The Bouncy castles need an additional 4ft gap in front of the castle (for easy access) and a 4ft gap behind the castle for the blower. Also a 2ft additional gap is required on both sides. These minimum dimensions may be reduced at the discretion of the delivery driver, in accordance with our risk assessments.
2. On the day of the booking please ensure that there are no obstructions/hazards including stones, overhanging tree branches, sharp bushes, broken glass, animal excrement, etc. around the area. Food & drink, hard toys, sharp items, face paint, silly string, glasses, chewing gum, etc. must not be used on or near our equipment. Animals must be kept away from our equipment.
3. Full payment and a £50.00 refundable deposit is required at the beginning of the hire period to cover any costs incurred by Family Bounce as a result of the hirer not abiding by these terms.
4. The maximum number of users at any one time is printed on the front the bouncy castle.
5. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times, when on or around our equipment.
6. Only children of similar size should use the castle at the same time.
7. Users of the castle(s) must not climb, sit or hang on the sides or top of the bouncy castle(s). Users must also not play or sit on the safety step of the castle.Somersaults and rough play are strictly prohibited.
8. The safety pegs/sand bags that secure the castle to the ground must not be removed.
9. Continually ensure that power cable is not becoming a tripping hazard.
10. The bouncy castle must not be used in extreme weather (i.e. high winds = 24mph+, heavy rain etc.) In this event all electrical equipment must be turned off from the mains, by a responsible adult.
11. The bouncy castle must NEVER be turned off when it’s occupied, in the event of a power failure all users must leave the castle immediately. Note: when the bouncy castle deflates users are no longer protected from the hard floor beneath the castle.
12. If adults use the children's inflatable equipment, safety tests and repairs from the hirers deposit will have to be taken to ensure that the equipment is still safe to use.
13. The full deposit will not be returned if there is loss or damage to our equipment caused by sabotage, negligence, or by not following the Terms of Hire guidelines properly. Additional payment may be required if the deposit does not cover the full cost.
14. When using our equipment, users must wear socks or be bare foot. Shoes are not permitted.
15. If, on collection our bouncy castles are excessively dirty and require cleaning, an additional charge of £20 will be debited from the customer's deposit to cover cleaning costs and the associated lost time incurred.

DISCLAIMER: All persons using our inflatables do so at their own risk. The hirer will be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from, or as a result, of misuse or reckless use. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to. Family Bounce cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.
